Center Stage is an inquisitive and correct colt, and quite big already.  He has gorgeous sabino traits with three tall stockings, the one on his front leg extending on to his knee, a lovely lacey blaze, and a white chin.  He will certainly be capable of handling the big jumps in the jumper ring, and has all the bling you would need for the hunter ring.

Center Stage has an outstanding pedigree with top Dutch, Holsteiner and Selle Français bloodlines.  Her sire is our 

young imported Swedish stallion, Catapult, who will be making his debut in the jumper ring in 2010.  He is a kind, gentle stallion with an unsurpassed work ethic.  Catapult is by Cagliostro 931, a Premeirad A Holsteiner/ Swedish stallion, who was the high scoring jumper at his stallion testing in Sweden, and has a BLUP-index in jumping of 139 (BLUP-index ranked #19 of the top 350 stallions).  Cagliostro is a member of the Finnish International Showjumping team and has won and placed in numerous Grand Prix and International competitions including the World Equestrian Games, the Nation’s Cup (FEI: CSIO4*), and the World Cup (FEI: CSI-W).  

        
Catapult’s dam line is so impressive, with world class mares including Ella, who produced the international show jumper stallion Constant and sire of the world-famous Olympian show jumper Chin Chin, Dorette, who produced Roman and Farn, the sire of the Dutch Preferent Sire of the Century, Nimmerdor, and also Gold Rose, who was a member of the French show jumping team and won the Grand Prix of Paris and Madrid and became second in Lisbon, Barcelona and Hamburg. Her total winnings were 621,000 Francs and she had an untouchable jumping index of 186! (For reference, Chin Chin’s index is 166).

Maternal grandsire Oramé is currently competing successfully in Europe in Grand Prix jumping.  In his youth, he was the only stallion to win both the Stallion Show and Test.  Oramé is a superior jumper athlete and continues to win the Six Bars competitions year after year - his highest record was over 2.00m (~6'6") in 2008!   

Other ancestors in this colt's pedigree include the preferent stallions Indoctro, the 2006 USEF Jumper Sire of the Year, Ramiro and Nimmerdor, the 2000 "The Stallion of the 20th Century" in the Netherlands, Ladykiller xx, Cor de la Bryère, Ibrahim x 2 and Almé, the dually recognized "Father of World Breeding" and the Selle Français "Stallion of the Century", and Grand Veneur, France’s leading sire based on the performance of his progeny especially his elite son, Le Tot de Semilly.
