We are pleased to introduce a new mare to our select breeding and competition program:

Miss Quidam

7 year old, 16.3hh bay Oldenburg mare

Quidam de Revel x Saskan (v. Sandro Z)

We will be showing her in the hunter or jumper ring next year. She might possibly be bred in 2010 or 2011. New photos will be available in the summer (photos taken in November 2009).

SIRE UPDATE

VDL Orame 9th in Sires of the World

VDL Orame, sire Waltilde of and grandsire of Doramé, with his rider Jur Vrieling placed 9th in the Sires of the World competition at Lanaken.

This year, he was again the 1st place winner of the Six Bars competition at Amsterdam. He has won this same competition in 2008 and 2006 with a top height being set at over 2.00m (~6'6").

Viva Voltaire's progeny are cleaning up!

Viva Voltaire is the sire of Volaré, and the full sibling to Volaré due May 2, 2010. In the 2009 show season, Viva Voltaire is proving to be a sire of champions in Hunter, Jumper and Dressage disciplines:

Viva's Athletico won the Gold Medal in Equitation Junior B at the Quebec Equestrian Games.

Viva's Passion won the Bronze Medal in Children's Hunter at the Quebec Equestrian Games.

Viva's Veroveraar was First in the FEI Test of Choice.

Viva's Victory was First in the Jumper Development class for 4 year olds with score of 90 points.

Viva's Destiny was Second in the Jumper Development class for 4 year olds with score of 88 points.

Viva's Rainbow was Champion in Children's Hunter out of 55 entries.

Viva's Salier was 4th in Intermediaire I at the Blainville Dressage Show.

Popeye K on top for a Second consecutive year

Popeye K, sire of Doramé, was named the 2009 USEF Hunter Breeding Sire of the Year. He received this same esteemed ranking in 2008 as well.

FOAL UPDATE

All of our mares have been re-checked at the 4-month mark and are still in foal:

Clair de Lune (imported premium buckskin Swedish Warmblood) is in foal to Viva Voltaire (Elite Hanoverian) for a May 2, 2010 Swedish Warmblood foal. This foal will be a full sibling to Volaré and is offered for sale in utero. This foal has been fetal sexed (Day 110) and is most likely a colt!

Jamaica (imported premium buckskin Swedish Warmblood) is in foal to Catapult for a May 20, 2010 Swedish Warmblood foal. This foal is offered for sale in utero. Fetal sexing (Day 110) was inconclusive.

Travola (imported Prok Sport chestnut sabino Dutch Warmblood) is in foal to Catapult for a July 12, 2010 Swedish Warmblood foal. This foal is offered for sale in utero. Fetal sexing (Day 110) was inconclusive.

Waltilde (imported bay sabino Dutch Warmblood) is in foal to Catapult for a July 20, 2010 Swedish Warmblood foal. This foal is offered for sale in utero. Fetal sexing (Day 110) was inconclusive.
